Certain preparations for making pizza dough sold in several major retail chains since September 14, 2021 are subject to a recall throughout France. Find out which ones and here’s what you need to know if you have them in your home.
After pistachios, sausages, minced meat or even chicken, it is the turn of a new everyday product to be the subject of a product recall. Some preparations for making Casino brand pizza dough sold in Casino, Vival, Spar stores and Casino distribution networks are affected and contain an abnormally high rate of dust mites. These products should not be consumed.
Which products are affected?
The recall concerns the Casino brand “my easy pizza dough” 500g pizza dough mix. The products are sold in the following distributors:
- CASINO, VIVAL, SPAR and Casino distribution networks
marketed since 09/14/2021 in the whole of France, this product may cause allergic reactions in sensitive people, says Rappel Conso, the government site which lists all the recalls of finished products intended for consumers. The end date of the recall procedure is set for July 30, 2022.

What if you have it at home?
If you have one of these products in your possession, the Rappel Conso site advises not to consume it and to bring it back to the store at the nearest point of sale in order to refund. If in doubt, you can also contact the consumer service on 0800133016 (non-surcharged call).
