Snoopy: Apple TV+ unveils the trailer for “Lucy’s School”

Apple TV+ today unveiled the trailer for “Lucy’s School,” a new original special that pays tribute to educators and is inspired by the classic comic book “Peanuts” by Charles M. Schulz, which will air for the first time Friday August 12th.

An original special, along with never-before-seen episodes of The Snoopy Show’s second season, will premiere globally on Apple TV+ in two weeks.

“Lucy’s School” premieres August 12, 2022 on Apple TV+.

The Peanuts gang are anxious about starting a new school in the fall, prompting Lucy to start her own school, but teaching isn’t as easy as it seems. “Lucy’s School” is a love letter to teachers and an appreciation of the impact a teacher can have on a child. It explores the fear of change and shows how Lucy, supported by her friends, confronts and overcomes her own fears.

Produced for Apple TV+ by Peanuts and WildBrain, this special is directed by Raymond S. Persi (“It’s the Small Things, Charlie Brown”), written by Craig Schulz, Bryan Schulz and Cornelius Uliano, who also serve as executive producers alongside Paige Braddock, Josh Scherba, Stephanie Betts, Amir Nasrabadi and Anne Loi, and produced by James Brown and Timothy Jason Smith.

New episodes of season 2 of the famous “The Snoopy Show” will also be available on Apple TV+ on Friday August 12 thanks to its partnership with WildBrain.
