The endless debate over regional pizza supremacy has no definitive answer, unless you talk to a native New Yorker. While we can appreciate popular food in its various shapes, sizes and dish depths, the highly imitated but never replicated NY style will always be classic.
FILA’s famous NY Style pizza collection aims to highlight five culinary institutions across the boroughs, designating each restaurant with its own FILA shoe silhouette. Rubirosa of Manhattan Restaurant, Roberta’s in Brooklyn, sLICe in Queens, Louie and Ernie’s in the Bronx and Lee’s Tavern in Staten Island come to life with their own set of distinct colors, topped with unique details and logos that represent each restaurant. All pairs are housed in a shoebox inspired by a classic pizza box, while the back of the tongues feature a map of NYC – each showing the location of each respective establishment.
FILA’s famous NY Style pizza collection is now available exclusively at FootLocker.com and select Foot Locker stores; see a breakdown of the five colorways below.
